The Quagmire of my Discontent: The Apocalypse of WeeSaul - Abondon all hope, ye who enter here!!!

It's a fact of life that we cannot ignore, one day the Earth will die. But how will it happen?

There are so many ways for the End to come. I'm just curious as to which way it will happen. There are many who feel that these are the End Times, I don't know if they are correct, but if they do happen to be on the mark, I want to know how it ends...

Will it be a slow cancer that eventually kills the planet? Or will the End come in a brief instance? My very personal death that I will one day face seems so insignificant compared to the death of an entire planet. Maybe the death of the planet isn't what I really curious about for I know that one day the big blue ball will be consumed by the star that gave it life. The real quagmire that my mind faces is how the highest life form on this planet will end its stay in the universe.

Nope, that's not what is really on my mind either. What will happen when everyone's dead? That is what has been on my mind lately. Will there be a big party in the afterlife for everyone? Will there be nothing at all to face - just the nothingness of a universal void where it was once filled with beings that contemplated the end of life in their little corner of the universe? Is there anyone out there who will be saddened by the passing of man? Will St. Peter be overwhelmed by the sudden influx of people? And will the wait to pass through the Pearly Gates be unbearable?

If these are the End Times, I want to watch it all happen, and be an active participant if need be...
