A thought crossed my mind when I read about a body from a sailor who had died at Pearl Harbor had been identified after all these years. It is staggering to think of all those who have walked upon the Earth and have left without a trace...

I wonder what percentage of humans have left some mark upon humanity. The number must be incredibly small and those who are actually remember as leaving footprints upon the sands of humanity must be infinitesimally small...

It has me in shock that there have been countless people who have left this plane and the place is none the better nor any worse for wear for hosting their lives...

Though it really amazes me that I can still be amazed by thoughts that cross my brainwaves after all these years...
