The Quagmire of my Discontent: The Apocalypse of WeeSaul - Abondon all hope, ye who enter here!!!
On the road again - Lancaster...
Another road trip for my second job, this time the destination is Lancaster...
It is nice to get a mini-vacation once in a while - nice indeed. Just to get away from it all is good for the soul...
And I get to sit here in the van and have others wonder as to what it is I'm doing with the ole PDA...
And wonder they shall, and type as I must for this is what I do and shall continue to do so 'til the Sun is but a cold orb in a vast empty universe...
The clock says 4:49a.m. and we are still rolling along. We lost half the passengers an hour ago, and still we travel on...
It's interesting, at least to me, to watch the world in near darkness. I know what the trip looks like whilst the Sun is shining, but to see it at night is something completely altogether different. A road lined with a million shining stars in the distance and then long periods of darkness, the blackness nothingness with only the headlights lighting the way - no moon, no stars, no existence. And yet there is life all around invisible to my eyes peering through the windows of the van as we travel to another place on our trip through this life...
I wonder as I often do what those who are awake would think if they could read my thoughts as I put them down in a digital form? I wonder and wonder as I look out on the darkened world...
5:55a.m. and still on the road with one brief stop at Starbucks, and even though I don't enjoy drinking their coffee, I did so for it as all that was available at this time of the day. Coffee, the gift of he gods, fuel for the soul, should not be brewed in such an unloving manner by folks who would rather be doing something else. Coffee houses should be more like churches or temples where the coffee is brewed by priests who brew it with divine inspiration, following the commandments of the gods...
Just my thoughts at this hour of the day, fueled only by coffee, guided only by million twinkling stars of countless streets that I am traveling upon through the darkness whilst I think of that which needs to be thought of on this journey to Lancaster...
And to finally arrive, do that which needs to be done, then to leave, and take the long and winding road home in the dark, which looked very much like the trip to Lancaster though we were traveling in the opposite direction...
This is the Word of the AntiCrust on the Road to and from Lancaster...
Praise be the Word...
