The end of the year is quickly approaching, far too quickly for someone such as I. I am beginning to suspect that the Earth's rotation about its axis and about the Sun quickens at this time of the year to make up for lost time during the first three quarters of the year...
Why should it speed up to make up for lost time? Is this just to keep me on my toes, and to insure that I'm paying attention to my surroundings? Is it just to force me into a state of shear panic as the end of the year draws closer? I'm putting all my chips on the latter...
There is so much to do, and so little time to do it. Many plans have been made, and yet there aren't enough hours in the day to accomplish all that needs to be done. So much, so little - that is what my life boils down to if I in fact would allow it to boil down without constant attention and stirring of the pot, and a little water added to mix...
This is life as I live it, and if one cannot take the heat in the kitchen, one should probably open a window...
