It really is. And I would lie about that either. Really, I wouldn't...
I can remember back like an eternity ago when I was a Wee lad. The snow that covered the ground much like it is now would be a grayish sort of colour. If you happen to dig down into the snow, it was like digging down through layers of sedimentary rock - you could count the number of snowfalls and the amounts of it by the layers of grayishness...
Everybody worked hard and got their hands dirty...
Now the snow remains white for an eternity. There are no more layers of grayishness. The snow is clean, the air is far cleaner than it has been in the last hundred or so years, everything is clean and white...
The people likewise wish to remain clean. Nobody wants to get down and dirty at work. It is far better to have someone less well off in a far off land do the hard work. Let them get dirty...
And all that is left of the past glory of the area are rotting skeletons of the places of industry, vast barren fields that once built a nation...
All gone never to return...
But at least we can all work at the bazillion Wal-Marts that have sprung up like weeds across the region and keep clean...
"May I assist you in finding something?"
This is the Word of the AntiCrust...
Praise be the Word...
