The JWs stopped by my humble abode over the weekend to invite me to one of their events, which got me to thinkin' about religion, and thinkin' 'bout stuff is what I excel at...

I do enjoy religions and those who follow their own personal calling. But I do not like to discuss my personal belief system with others. I am far more joyful just letting others talk of their faith and their ideas of what religion is to them and the impact it has on their existence. I greatly dislike preaching to others for it is not my job to judge others on the hows and whys they should be believing in the way I do. Ain't my job...

One can learn a great deal about another when the other explains what they believe to be the Truth, and how they practice their vision of the Truth. As it has been said many times, there is a reason why one has two ears and only one mouth...

Back in the day, oh so many moons ago when I was a youth counselor, I found it extremely difficult to follow the guidelines that I had to work under and reach the church's view of what the Truth was, But I did enjoy listening to how others viewed the Truth...

Most forms of religious expression are acceptable in my eyes barring illegal activity and human sacrifice. Each and every member of the human race needs to believe in something, it's good for the soul...
