The Quagmire of my Discontent: The Apocalypse of WeeSaul - Abondon all hope, ye who enter here!!!
Broke off from my work the other day...
I spent the evening thinking about
All the blood that flowed away
Across the ocean to the second chance
I wonder how it got on when it reached the promised land?
It's shame that if a prophet did come forward in these times, he or she would be label a nutcase and locked away for a very long time. Maybe it just the society that I find myself in at this moment or maybe it is the fact that true prophets no longer roam the earth, but if a prophet proclaim to the world about things to come, would anyone listen to the message? And if Babylon had fallen, would anyone even notice?
There is so much in this existence that has been deemed lunacy that I am surprised that if anyone actually believes in any at all. And that is a shame at the very least. What has become of the great mysteries of this world? What has become of the magic of life? Have we as a people become so jaded that nothing will make us accept the possibility that something may be beyond our field of vision, beyond our understanding of this universe, beyond the realm of all we perceive?
I suppose that our brains have evolved so far beyond that of our ancestors that we no longer believe in the magical forces that surround us on a daily basis and I mean that with all the sarcasm that I can muster at this moment for I know that we have not evolved far from those who came down from the trees and crossed the great plains so many centuries ago. And those who believe that we are far superior to those who came before are as delusional as they claim the prophets are, but they are more so for they have no message to give to the world, no vision of things as yet to come...
And yet I was born and raised in this time though I detest what the world has become. It more that aggravates me that mankind thinks it is so smart, that it knows everything about everything. I suppose that they will never learn...
This is the Word of the AntiCrust...
Praise be ye who Read the Word for ye are Blessed amongst humans...
